On the Path to Sustainability

Apacheta provides holistic, multidisciplinary solutions for sustainable ecosystem management and environmental monitoring

We are a research and development team that aims to transform environmental challenges into opportunities through innovative and holistic solutions for land and water management. Together, we help organizations achieve their sustainability goals.

Apacheta has also launched a foundation to collaborate with partners from around the world on various non-profit causes aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and Open Source Scientific Research, thereby advancing the utilization of data and tools for environmental and social well-being.

At Apacheta, we are committed to fostering synergies and collaborative efforts. We work closely with various institutions and experts to maximize impact and ensure relevance across contexts. In partnership with the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and Conservation International, we are contributing to enhancing datasets and methodologies for the national reporting process to UNCCD.  We have partnered with GEO and co-lead GEO LDN's Working Group 4 on decision support. We also collaborate with Universities and research organisations like the International Research Centre of Big Data for SDGs (CBAS) to improve the monitoring of SDG 15.
